From the "Lodosa" Navarra region of Spain, Miguel y Valentino piquillo peppers are traditionally wood fire roasted and then hand peeled and seeded to preserve the natural taste and shape of the peppers. These peppers are well known for their intense red color, wood fire aroma, fleshy texture, and sweet, delicate taste. So much that they mantain a Denominacion de Origin (D.O.). Great in salads, meats, seafood, or lightly sauteed and stuffed.
