The Moreno family has been making exquisite vinegars and oils since 1904 in Andalucia. The 12-year Reserve Balsamic Vinegar is no exception. Obtained from a blend of Solera Vieja La Valeriana cask-aged vinegar and solera "base" vinegar to which a small amount of solera "fundación" vinegar is added – the oldest casks containing the base vintage wine for vinegar-making - plus a larger amount of concentrated "Pedro Ximenez" must (grape juice). This process gives this vinegar its characteristic colour, sweetness and texture.
Uses in cooking:
An essential for seasoning all kinds of meat, especially game, and for making sauces. It also goes will with sweet salads and pasta.
