This premium olive oil receives it's name from the farm (herdade in Portuguese) in the premiere wine region of Esporão where these olives are cultivated. The olives used for this oil are from the ancient olive groves of the Alentejo region, picked at the ideal point of maturation. After the harvest, they are crushed in a mill with respect for traditional cultural values, preserving the nectar and it's important benefits. The result is a genuine olive juice, 100% Portuguese, 100% pure with no additives or mixtures. Holds the prestigious Azeite de Moura D.O protected origin designation.
